King Jouet has entrusted Fasterize with the automation of its site’s webperf optimizations, to guarantee smooth browsing in all circumstances.
CDN + FEO
The objective for this e-commerce site was twofold:
- improve page load speed to boost search engine visibility in relation to the competition – mobile traffic comes mainly from SEO;
- but also to relieve servers during load peaks, and thus boost retention during promotional periods.
In terms of best practice, King Jouet was already equipped with a CDN , and the teams were keeping a close eye on its third parties. They had also considered switching to AMP to improve loading times, but finally opted for Fasterize, which meets both CDN and FEO needs.
