[Infographic] The mobile web performance of French e-commerce

This infographic is the result of a study we conducted with more than 300 French e-commerce sites. It highlights the state of progress of the different sectors of activity in terms of mobile web performance.
The stakes are high since for 60% of mobile users, a web page must load in less than 3 seconds on a mobile, and 50% of mobile traffic represents the majority of sites in 2018.

The 3 key points of the study on the mobile web performance of French e-commerce sites

  • 8,649 milliseconds is the average speed index
  • 63% of the 300 sites tested have a speed index between 5001 and 9000 milliseconds
  • The three most advanced sectors are Luxury, Auto-moto and Food
