HTTP/2: Towards a webperf/2?

2016 will be a pivotal year in the evolution of the web: HTTP 1.1 (in place since 1999) gives way to its big brother HTTP/2, and the cell phone continues to conquer the world without us really managing to tame it.

 

The demands of web and mobile users, meanwhile, are becoming ever more exacting. Not least in terms of speed: 81% of French Internet users would think twice before buying from a slow site, and 85% would not recommend a slow site.

 

Faced with these transformations and growing demands, it’s legitimate to ask ourselves whether we should design a website the way we used to!

 

Which good practices are still worth taking? Which ones should be discarded?
