Without having resources dedicated to web performance, the technical teams were aware of the issue of loading times and needed to improve them without undertaking complex developments.

Alltricks is 150 sports enthusiasts every day… and also speed! Specializing in equipment for cycling, running and outdoor activities, the site welcomes around 2 million Internet users each month with a target of 30% growth in turnover in 2019. 1.8 million items are shipped each year to 70 countries.
The IT team takes care of the website and works with marketing to animate the e-commerce platform. Although there are no resources dedicated to webperf, Alltricks.fr was already mobilized on the subject of loading times , both out of a desire to improve UX and conversion rates , and out of interest in SEO .
A migration as well as webperf projects had been undertaken, but the results were still not satisfactory in their eyes.
The PageSpeed Insights score was monitored, but beyond the recommendations, the Google tool did not support the application of good webperf practices, Alltricks called on Fasterize to implement these good practices while relieving the technical teams.

Alltricks’ main goal was to save time, on all levels: to make the site faster with minimal time and effort for internal resources .
One of the main concerns was a DOM that was too complex with too many nodes, and the IT team couldn’t tackle it easily.
Alltricks first assessed the business losses linked to the slowness of the site and then estimated the potential ROI resulting from shorter loading times, to decide to take advantage of the benefits of a SaaS web performance optimization platform.

Alltricks observed a clear improvement in the fluidity of navigation on its site, as well as a slight decrease in the bounce rate, but also a 25% increase in its SEO traffic .
During an AB test carried out after 3 years of optimizations automatically applied by the Fasterize engine, Alltricks was able to confirm the gains in technical performance, but also the gains in revenue. For this test, 50% of the traffic was optimized, and 50% not optimized.
The revenue recorded by the optimized version of the site was approximately 110,000 euros higher per month, making the solution nearly 22 times profitable!
In terms of raw performance, loading times are improved on all devices .
Additionally, the A/B test results confirmed the impact of Fasterize on Core Web Vitals which are all green , and therefore considered good by Google, thanks to the optimizations of the SaaS solution.
In particular, the LCP of product pages is divided by 6 on desktop and by more than 4 on mobile; and the CLS goes from 0.21 to 0.006 for the home page on desktop .
