With Fasterize, take the time to go fast

Slow fashion, slow travel, slow food… At Fasterize, we know that taking things slowly can be beneficial. If the time has come for you too to slow down, we invite you to discover our “Slow my site” option, developed to meet the needs of those who want to take their time.

Why slow down?

Creating expectation is a proven marketing lever: you have to wait several years to receive your Kelly bag from Hermès or to see the next Star Wars movie, it even took 25 years to see the 3rd season of the Twin Peaks series… So why not wait a few seconds or even a few minutes to fully appreciate the display of a web page?

With the “Slow my site” option, enjoy the benefits of a slower site. Create a strong sense of impatience among your users, who will then experience the loading of each page as a relief!

Because taking your time isn’t a waste of time

A slower site reminds users of the weight of each element that makes it up. Pages are built up like a jigsaw puzzle, so that each piece of content can be appreciated one by one, rather than being served up immediately and simultaneously.

These slower loading times are opportunities to devote oneself to other activities in the meantime, to detach oneself from a screen for a few moments.

For example, a homepage that takes several seconds to display gives you time to make yourself a cup of coffee. A product page that takes several minutes to load is just as long as it takes to read a magazine article – time to live!

With the “Slow my site” option, you can offer your users these privileged moments.

Decide for yourself how long you want each page to take to load, and also manually define which elements you want to appear first. For example, if you’ve just updated your footer, you’ll certainly want to highlight it to your customers!

It’s up to you to decide how and what you want to slow down, for another way of controlling your loading times.
